Not just a movie review..there is more stuffs...so read it
Recently i watched two movies Vinnaithandi varuvaya and Thiratha vilayatu pillai,both are extermely different movies with different subject.These two movies however had one common theme in them (ie) love,we cant expect a tamil cinema without love, though the story lines of love theme were different,the viewer or audience is single so the impact is one.Before i tell wat i felt after seeing the two movies first i will share the story of the 2 movie.

Movie -1: Vinnai Thandi Varuvaya
Vinnai thandi varuvaya... meaning Will you come beyond skies...almost the title seems asking some question..may be the guy asks the girl this question,it is always boys asks to the girl than the reverse.As expected the story is a narration of a guys love,the movie begins with a dialogue saying what is the opinion of the guy regarding love..karthick(silambarasan-hero)says we shouldn't choose the love,it wont last it has to hit us..seems great but don't know whether in reality it works.He sees jessey(Trisha) falls in love,incidentally she lives in the first floor of the same house of hero(the heroes r always lucky,i dont have any luck),he starts following her and made her to notice him.She enquires about this to him indirectly,he confesses her love to her she goes silent without any response.karthick gets confused in jesseys silence and apologises to her..typical girls silence..actually boys don't have the patience in these matters,she accepts his sorry and tells him let us be friends...no girl will say to a guy that she loves him too in a single attempt..so guys don't be broken..usually it starts by saying let us be Friends or some extreme case anna meaning brother in tamil(Actually in tamil brahmins anna is also referred to husband so watch out for the tricks guys). as usual karthick keeps on trying to convince her,but she refuses by indicating his fathers hatered againt cross religion marriage..oh i forgot karthick is hindu and jessey is christian..the biggest villan..caste,colour,community these are not reality but they are more big villans then real people..continuing the story at some stage jessey responds to her love..somehow this love affair reaches to the ears of jessey father and he reacts bad,he arranges a marriage for her soon with another guy in kerala(jessey native place),karthick is not able to contact her so he decides to track down the marriage and he somehow manages to go to the marriage,with deep heart regret he sits in the marriage ..in christain marriage there is a good thing they ask the partners about their willingness..jessey refuses to marry another guy and the marriage breaks..karthick feels like heaven...so after the cancelled marriage he meets jessey and she reveals her love to him..the next 20 minutes of movie seem a dream..may be that is the life everybody expects to be in entire life..but somehow these always occur for only short period..now comes the twist karthick...i forgot to tell abt him,he actually is trying to become a director in film industry..here comes the twist he gets a chance as an assistant director and he has to go out of town for 30 days,during this period in jesseys family they are trying to arrange the marriage with the same guy whom she broke the marriage,she gets afraid and ask karthick to come and take her away from her home..strangled in the work karthick ask her stay patient for some more times..but everything ends..when he came to take her she refused him and says everything is over..actually even me watching the movie couldn't understand what went wrong..even does karthick..everything happens in a very very short period..actually wat i could guess it that when she(jesseY) wanted him the most karthick delayed his response little..not much but still tat makes her to change her decision on karthick..there is a saying men are from earth and women are from mars..it must be true because i couldn't convince how somebody will leave his deep love due to small delay or incident..may be that is how womens are and we dont have any choice then to accept what they are...tats the truth..coming back to the story years go by no sign of jessey..karthick decides to do a movie of his own story..while doing his movie in abroad he sees jessey ..now there is a portion shown as if they are joining together again,but at the end it is the climax of karthick movies as seen by him ..in reality they dont join..karthicks love failed in reality but the love succeded in his movie and his life as a director also succededs and thats the end of movie.
I have seen several intense movies but somehow i am convinced its among the top best.It must be a true story and obiviously the story of gautam menon's(director of movie) real life.After seeing the movie it makes as think lot..definetly made me to think..what is shown..a true love..but it is not successful ?????????? if it is true it must have been successful???.right. From our childhood we are taught that trueness will prevail over everything?? whether true always prevails ????.. ..but may be the whole story is a fiction not reality ???? however karthick is shown as if his achieving greater heights in career(may be life)..may be this love is only a small part of life ...only a lesson taught to make him achieve bigger things in life???? i leave it to you to make your own choice of this......

Movie -2: Thiratha vilayatu pillai
Coming to the next movie Thiratha vilayatu pillai,a playboy type movie..not exactly playboy but kinda....the hero name is karthick(vishal)..again karthick i don't know why tamil directors always give hero name only karthick,siva..is theren't any other name(May be kannan ..kamalakannan seems a good name..srry everybody just doing some personalfavour..he he)karthick comes from a good educated family..his parents both work as bank managers..he completes his MBA and is searching for a job,right from his childhood he always wants only the best in everything,right from pen to school...he wants the best so he chooses the best options and decide the best one among his options..this is the theme of the movie..so when comes to girl he decides to choose 3 option and he does so.
option-1: Jyoti,beautiful girl,very bold,she doesnt likes guys at all,her brother is like a don of a area,karthick meets her when she chases a guy who teases her and give him a heavy slap in public..karthick is impressed by her boldness..
option-2: Priya,tall,lean, beautiful girl who's motto in life is to love a single guy and marry himself itself(one such a girl..unique she indeed was unique u will understand it at the end)karthick see's her at a marriage where how she helps her friend in preventing a bad marriage(dowry)
option-3: Teju, very rich gorgeous girl...daughter of a millionare,karthick gets impressed by her beauty and richness.
now the story goes as how he tries to impress the girls..he does impress them soon and all 3 are in love with karthick.now karthick in confusion in how to choose and whom to choose.....here comes the twist Teju somehow comes to know about karthick real color of dating 2 other girls and gets very angry,she cahllenges to him that she will make his life hell& he wil plead her for help..blah blah..right so now we got the villan..she plays lot of games to make karthick's life tough..but somehow karthick overcomes everything with a bang..(he is the hero-he has to)..in fear of further problem being created ,he inform jyoti and priya that teju got mad of a unsuccessful love and she is trying to seperate out all lovers..warns them not to listen to any of her words..(important scene remember it)..so now karthick with 2 options to choose Jyoti and priya...teju targets jyoti and says her the truth..one more option eliminated for karthick..now he is left only with priya..but due to these events karthick loses interest in love..Teju and jyoti then tells the truth to priya infront of karthick..karthick stands head down..listen up everybody this is own of the best scene i have ever watched in my entire life..recollect the important scene i mentioned before....priya comes towards karthick and says karthick you told only teju was mad now jyoti is also mad..karthick now realise the value of love and priya's true love for him..it struck karthick like anything..not only him as an audience it struck me like anything... what a belief she has trusted karthick's word to the core..so only she was able to say like this..this is true love..no matter what happens,what u hear,what u see u trust the person to the core..that is indeed true true love..this is true love..so at the end of movie they both get united..
Coming to a part after seeing such 2 movies..i surely saw a link in these movies..in both the movies the hero name is karthick...girls kindly forgive me this part may not be liked by you or you may not be interested in this.and also certain guys..apologies to everybody if you don't like it.It comes likes this to my interpretation,let us take karthick as a single person in reality,now he has 2 choices, Jessey and priya two characters both different Jessey going by the portrayal of the movie is more attractive,beautiful than priya,but jessey seemed to have some kind of grief,ego,possessiveness or may be fear that makes,i dont know but something made karthick's(VTV hero-simbhu) life tough,though the love seemed true it didnt workout.In the other case priya was such true,innocent and loyal she trusted the words of karthick to the core ...guys take a choice between these two what characters ..think that you have both of them,who would you choose,Jessey or priya ???????????? surely jessey(trisha) is more attractive than priya..even for me i am also attracted to trisha,but priya is so good.Life is as simple is it is,it comes to the end of choice making ..you have to make your choice..so be decisive in making ur right choice..In life always if you get something we lose something,but we usually see the losed things that we forget what we have in hand..so try to rejoice what you got then regreting what you lost...
Coming to lighter side..when i see these two movies i am getting one more thing,have you seen unnalae unnalae???????????just little bit think.
